Apple's Steve Jobs is more creative than ever!

Back from his six-month medical leave, Apple CEO Steve Jobs—clad in his trademark black turtleneck and blue jeans—finally reemerged into the spotlight Wednesday to unveil a new digital album format, a camera-equipped iPod Nano, and a trio of souped up, cheaper, but camera-less iPod Touches. No sign of the Beatles, though. Indeed, absent news of the Fab Four finally arriving on iTunes or the unveiling of the rumored Apple "iTablet," the reappearance of Jobs—who underwent a liver transplant in April during a six-month leave of absence—was the biggest news of the day. Dressed in his standard uniform—black turtleneck, jeans, and sneakers—Jobs still looked a bit gaunt but otherwise "good," as the bloggers at Engadget noted. The recuperating Jobs got a long standing ovation as he took the stage, then told the rapt audience that he now uses the transplanted liver of a 20-something man who died in a car crash. "I'm very happy to be here today with you all," said a thankful Jobs, who urged everyone at the event to become organ donors themselves. "I'm vertical, back at Apple, and loving every day of it." And with that, Jobs launched into the product demos, including ... New iPod Touches Unfortunately, rumors of a Touch with a built-in camera didn't materialize; what we did get, however, was a 64GB version of the Touch to go with the existing 32GB and 8GB models. (The old 16GB version is, for now, MIA). Both the 64GB and 32GB Touches boast "50 percent" faster performance and OpenGL-enhanced graphics, according to Apple, while the 8GB model is stuck with the old, slower Touch processor. Pricing for the new Touches (all available now): $399 for the 64GB version, $299 for the 32GB, and $199 for the 8GB. (Oddly enough, the new price tags conflict with the Touch price drops that were revealed on the Apple Store earlier today.) New iPod Nano, with built-in camera While the Touch didn't get its own camera as expected, the Nano sure did—a VGA-quality, 30 frames-per-second camera, specifically, along with the ability to sync photos and videos to iPhoto or the Photos directory on a PC. The new Nano also comes with a larger, 2.2-inch display, an FM radio, pedometer, voice recorder, and a built-in speaker, as well as support for the new Genius Mixes (more on that in a moment). Prices: 16GB for $179, 8GB for $149. Updated iPod Classic, Shuffle Nothing major to report here, except that the Classic now ships with a 160GB hard drive for $249, while the Shuffle—now with the ability to tell you via VoiceOver when its battery is full—will sell for $59 (2GB), $79 (4GB), and $99 (a 4GB stainless-steel special edition). iTunes 9 & iTunes LP As expected, we also got our new digital album format: iTunes LP, a slick digital package for full music albums that includes album art, liner notes, credits and "other customized content." The main interface for an iTunes LP-formatted album looks something like a DVD menu, complete with options such as Play Album, Song List, photos, videos, memorabilia, liner notes, and credits; Jobs also mentioned that the artists themselves may collaborate on iTunes LP design (for instance, we got an example from a Dave Matthews LP, with artwork drawn by Matthews himself). It's a sleek looking package, all right, but (at first blush, at least) somewhat short of earth-shattering; while it's a nice bonus for those who buy complete albums, I doubt it will put much of a dent in the trend of buying individual tracks on iTunes. Also new: "iTunes Extras," which will deliver the same types of extra features for purchased movies that you'd expect from a DVD, such as featurettes and deleted scenes. (Director and cast commentaries, anyone?) Sharing movies, TV shows, and songs across multiple computers in your home will also be easier thanks to "Home Sharing," a new iTunes feature that'll let you view, stream, and copy your content between up to five systems on a home network—no more need to dig into your iTunes folder and copy content manually. Jobs & company also showed off Genius Mixes, an extension of the Genius recommendation feature in iTunes that creates "endless mixes of songs" that "go great together, almost like radio stations" starting with 12 mixes based on the tunes in your iTunes library. Another new Genius feature: recommendations for apps, in addition to music. Meanwhile, iPhone and iPod Touch users with dozens of apps will appreciate this next feature: the ability to manage and organize all the apps on your iPhone/iPod Touch via iTunes, all without having to (clumsily) drag icons back and forth on the device itself. Other new iTunes 9 features: a cleaned-up iTunes Store interface (with a navigation menu above every page that lets you jump to any section of the store), improved iPod/iPhone syncing (for example, you can now sync entire genres and artist collections), and the ability to preview songs or videos by mousing over them from the iTunes "top charts" listings. Japonezii de la Sony vor lansa pe piaţă, luna viitoare, o versiune mai subţire şi mai ieftină a consolei PlayStation 3, cu care speră să revitalizeze vânzările şi să-i depăşească pe rivalii de la Microsoft şi Nintendo.

Disponibilă de luna viitoare, noua consolă se va comercializa la preţul de 299 de dolari în Statele Unite, 299 de euro în Europa şi 30.000 de yeni (316 dolari) în Japonia. Odată cu lansarea consolei vor scădea preţurile şi la actuala versiune. Astfel, modelul de 80 de GB va costa 299 de dolari în SUA şi 299 de euro în Europa, iar cel de 160 de GB va putea fi achiziţionat cu 399 de dolari.

„Noua consolă are aceleaşi caracteristici ca vechiul PS3, însă este cu 32% mai mică, cu 36% mai uşoară şi consumă cu 34% mai puţin curent”, potrivit lui Kaz Hirai, şeful Sony Computer Entertainment.

Comunicatul oficial de la Apple a inclus si o declaratie a directorului general Steve Jobs, ceea ce i-a determinat pe analisti sa speculeze cu privire la posibilitatea ca Jobs sa revina la conducerea companiei. Telemobil, operatorul retelei Zapp, va lansa in luna august prima retea 3G+ din Romania, oferind utilizatorilor conexiuni de date mobile de trei ori mai rapide si mai performante decat cele existente in prezent pe piata, informeaza operatorul.

Prima faza a acestui proces de actualizare tehnologica va acoperi orasul Bucuresti si va oferi utilizatorilor de Internet mobil viteze de transfer de pana la 21,6 Mbps la descarcare si 5,8 Mbps la incarcare.

Potrivit operatorului, aceasta realizare va fi posibila datorita colaborarii cu ZTE si prin actualizarea retelei UMTS cu mai noua tehnologie HSPA+.

"Inca din momentul lansarii, Zapp a detinut pozitia de lider, setand directii si impunand standarde pe piata de date mobile. Astfel, Zapp a fost primul operator care a lansat conexiuni de date mobile de mare viteza, pana la 2.4 Mpbs, la nivel national. Acum, suntem din nou primii care lanseaza o retea HSPA+, confirmand astfel pozitia noastra de lider WISP din Romania", a declarat Chris Bataillard, director general executiv.

Potrivit datelor centralizate de catre cei de la Panda, in urma scanarilor efectuate online, un procent din calculatoarele verificate erau infectate cu un vierme din familia Boface, incepand cu luna august 2008.

Boface.BJ.worm ajunge in calculatoare prin mesajele de email cu atasamente, descarcari de pe internet, fisiere transferate pe canale de chat sau retele peer-to-peer si infecteaza utilizatorul. Odata ce calculatorul este infectat, cand utilizatorul se va conecta la contul de Facebook, viermele va trimite un mesaj tuturor prietenilor din lista, prin care ii invita sa vizioneze un fisier video de la o adresa de internet denumita YuoTube (asemanatoare cu renumitul site YouTube). Pentru a accesa fisierul, celor curiosi li se va cere sa descarce un program. Daca acestia accepta, "viermele" se va instala si vor incepe sa fie afisate mesaje care atentioneaza ca s-a infectat calculatorul, iar utilizatorul trebuie sa cumpere un antivirus (fals) oferit ca solutie.

Pentru a preveni acest tip de fraude, cei de la PandaLabs ii sfatuiesc pe toti utilizatorii de internet, si in special ai retelelor de socializare, sa nu acceseze link-uri suspecte de la surse care nu sunt de incredere, iar daca totusi o fac, sa nu descarce niciun fisier executabil. Daca oamenii incep sa primeasca mesaje de avertizare cu privire la infectarea calculatorului, nu trebuie introduse detalii ale cardului de credit, pentru a evita posibile fraude.

După mobilul Diamond, taiwanezii de la HTC atacă cu Touch Pro atât în segmentul iPhone cât şi în cel business, dominat de BlackBerry.

Dacă prin telefonul mobil Touch Diamond compania taiwaneză HTC, unul din pionierii producţiei de dispozitive mobile inteligente, concurează în segmentul în care este prezent iPhone, lansarea recentă a mobilului Touch Pro ţinteşte două categorii de clienţi: cei interesaţi de design, stil şi funcţii multimedia, precum şi segmentul business tradiţional. Prezent pe piaţa românească din septembrie, HTC Touch Pro va veni înaintea lansării aici a modelului Xperia (X1) de la Sony Ericsson sau a lui BlackBerry Bold (9000), cu care va concura direct.

Practic, mobilul păstrează toate caracteristicile lui Diamond, cum ar fi interfaţa Touch Flo 3D care poate fi manevrată prin intermediul ecranului sensibil la atingere şi interfaţa grafică tridimensională. Traficul de Internet la nivel global a crescut cu 53%

Traficul de Internet la nivel mondial si-a mentinut crestera in ultimul an, insa cu o rata mai scazuta decat inainte, conform unui raport intocmit de companie de cercetare TeleGeography Research.

Cercetarile realizate de companie arate de asemenea ca in SUA mai multi furnizori de Internet au anuntat ca s-a constatat o crestere a traficului online, fiind nevoiti astfel sa impuna anumite limite de descarcare.

TeleGeography Research anunta astfel ca taficul de Internet la nivel global a crescut cu 53% de la jumatatea lui 2007 pana in acest moment, mai putin decat rata de crestere de 61% inregistrata in ultimele 12 luni anterioare.

In SUA s-a inregistrat astfel o crestere de 47% a traficului, insa cele mai mari majorari au fost identificate in regiunile unde Internetul este abia la inceput. Astfel, in America Latina cresterea traficului a fost dubla fata de cea din SUA.

Alan Mauldin, directorul TeleGeography Research, a anuntat insa ca numarul noilor abonati la serviciile de Internet a scazut fata de 2001, iar cresterea traficului, in ansamblul ei, are la baza cererea pentru clipuri video.

Microsoft a redus pretul consolei de jocuri video Xbox 360 sub nivelul produsului rival Nintendo Wii, pentru a concura cu firma japoneza, in prezent liderul pietei, scrie Bloomberg. Pretul de vanzare al consolei Xbox 360 Arcade a fost redus la 199,99 dolari (137,9 euro), de la 279,99 dolari (193 de euro), au declarat oficialii Microsoft. Consola este astfel cu 50 de dolari (34,5 euro) mai ieftina decat cel al produsului Wii.

Celelalte versiuni ale consolei Xbox au fost ieftinite cu 50 de dolari, ajungand la 299,99, respectiv 399,99 dolari.

Google - GeoEye, parteneriat pentru software-ul de harti

Google a semnat un parteneriat cu compania de sateliti GeoEye pentru imagini exclusive transmise de satelitul GeoEye One. Acesta va transmite fotografii de inalta rezolutie ale suprafetei Pamantului, pe care Google le va folosi pentru software-ul de harti.
GeoEye One va fi lansat saptamana aceasta, daca vremea va fi favorabila.

Kate Hurowitz, purtatorul de cuvant al Google, a declarat pentru Reuters ca primele imagini vor fi primite in urmatoarele trei luni.
“Combinatia dintre inalta rezolutie a imaginilor furnizate de GeoEye, harta cu o acutarete ridicata fotografiata de satelitul GeoEye One si capabilitatile de cautare ale Google vor furniza utilizatorilor o bogata colectie de harti ale Terrei”, a explicat aceasta.

Satelitul va orbita la aproximativ 700 de kilometri si poate identifica obiecte cu un diametru de aproximativ 41 de centimetri. GeoEye One va inconjura Pamantul de 15 ori pe zi si va realiza, zilnic, harti pentru aproximativ 1 milion de metri patrati.

“At Google, we spend much of our time working inside a browser. We search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser. And like all of you, in our spare time, we shop, bank, read news and keep in touch with friends - all using a browser. People are spending an increasing amount of time online, and they’re doing things never imagined when the web first appeared about 15 years ago.

Since we spend so much time online, we began seriously thinking about what kind of browser could exist if you started from scratch and built on the best elements out there. We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that’s what we set out to build.

So today we’re releasing the beta version of a new open source browser: Google Chrome.

On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff - the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. eactiile in ceea ce priveste noua prezenta pe piata navigatoarelor de internet nu au intarziat sa apara. Primii care si-au dat cu pararea despre Google Chrome au fost chiar "cei din curtea vecina", cu care noul browser va trebui sa dea piept.

Conform presedintelui Mozilla Europe, doi dintre inginerii Google Chrome sunt fosti angajati ai Mozilla, dintre care unul dintre ei a fost inginer principal al Firefox in urma cu cativa ani.

"Stim ca sunt ingineri buni", a recunoscut Tristan Nitot, insa a tinut sa precizeze ca Google Chrome ar putea sa nu fie compatibil cu miliardele de pagini web.

Acesta a concluzionat afirmand ca "Chrome nu poate fi la fel de bun la Firefox in afisarea diversitatii internetului".

HTC aduce in Romania smartphone-ul S740

Compania taiwaneza High Tech Computer (HTC), cel mai mare producator de PDA-uri si smartphone-uri bazate pe sistemul de operare Windows Mobile, va lansa in Romania terminalul S740 in a doua jumatate a lunii septembrie. Telefonul dispune atat de o tastatura clasica de 12 taste, cat si de una glisanta complet QWERTY si va avea un pret recomandat de 415 euro. Terminalul este compatibil cu retele 3G/HSDPA, ce asigura o viteza teoretica de descarcare a datelor de pana la 7,2 Mbps. Telefonul se mai poate conecta la internet prin Wi-Fi. Ecranul aparatului are diagonala de 2,4 inchi (6,09 centimetri). S740 dispune de o camera foto digitala cu rezolutia de 3,2 megapixeli si functie de inregistrare video. Memoria interna de 256 MB poate fi extinsa prin intermediul cardurilor microSD. Telefonul are si un modul de navigatie prin satelit (GPS) incorporat. Telefonul are o grosime de 16,3 milimetri si cantareste 140 de grame. S740 urmareste designul predecesorului sau HTC Touch Diamond, avand aceelasi tip de carcasa neagra. Diamond, considerat de catre analisti un concurent direct pentru Apple iPhone, se bazeaza pe o interfata aproape complet controlata cu ajutorul degetelor si dispune de doar cateva butoane pentru functiile uzuale.

Cell phones are not recommended for younger children; instead, small GPS devices which can be easily and firmly attached to the child should be used.

This year has been great for European and American travelers with mobile phones, with more airlines testing systems for boarding passes downloaded onto their browser-enabled handsets. Delta joined Continental in allowing domestic travelers to check-in and display their boarding pass on cell phone screens as a two-dimensional barcode. This furthers the trend begun by Air France, KLM and Air Canada, who began testing last year for short- and medium-haul flights. Air France’s system began as a simple check-in process, with an option for the user to receive a text message reminder prior to the flight date, and a confirmation afterwards.

In countries like Japan, where cell phones are used for all sorts of daily activities, this isn’t new at all. Since 2006, airlines such as ANA have enabled cell phones to manage booking, seat selection, and more. In an MSNBC article, Chris McGinnis, editor of Expedia Travel Trendwatch, says “…only a very small percentage of [US] airline passengers would ever really use their phones for this type of transaction.” Such a blanket statement sounds incredible as proliferation for mobile games and iPhone apps continues to pick up momentum.

CTIA-Wireless Association shows cell phone penetration levels at 82 percent as of the end of last year. With such a high level of saturation, the development of a cellular-based check-in system was a natural next step. Busy fliers like it because they can avoid printouts altogether. The Transportation Security Administration likes it because the 2D cell phone barcode is harder to counterfeit than the standard barcode.

The new system has its limitations and drawbacks. The TSA banned boarding without ID, so only so much waiting time in the security process has been cut out. If a cell phone does not have browser capability or the cell carrier plan has no data-download, the cell phone cannot access the site or service. As for drawbacks, the paperless check-in means that if you need proof of your flight to qualify for frequent flier miles, than you’re out of luck.

Vanzarile de laptop-uri au crescut in Romania de aproape 3 ori mai repede decat vanzarile de desktop-uri in al doilea trimestru, fata de aceeasi perioada a anului trecut. Astfel, comercializarile de computere portabile au crescut cu 49% ca numar de unitati vandute, in timp ce vanzarile de desktop-uri au crescut cu doar 18,7%.
Intreaga piata de PC-uri din Romania a crescut in trimestrul doi cu 29,3% ca numar de unitati vandute si cu 23,3% ca valoare fata de aceeasi perioada a lui 2007. Desktop-urile au ocupat 59,8% din piata, in timp ce laptop-urile au detinut in trimestrul doi 37,9%, conform unui raport IDC.

Ca valoare a vanzarilor, desktop-urile au detinut 47% din piata, notebook-urile 42,9%, in timp ce serverele au acoperit 10,1% din piata de PC-uri autohtone in trimestrul doi.

In primul trimestru, desktop-urile au avut o pondere de 73%, ca numar de unitati, iar valoarea a reprezentat 59,1% din totalul pietei

Ca numar de unitati vandute, pe primul loc in trimestrul doi s-a clasat Dell, cu o cota de 12,6% din piata de PC-uri autohtone, urmat de HP, cu 12% din piata si de K-Tech cu 8,9%. Ca valoare, cel mai bun vendor in trimestrul doi s-a clasat HP, cu o cota de 16,9%, urmat de Dell, 15,3% si de Toshiba, cu 9,3%.

Ca valoare, Intel domina categoric segmentul de procesoare, cu o cota de 75,5% din piata in trimestrul doi, urmat de AMD, cu o cota de 23,9%.

Retailerul Flamingo International estimeaza ca va comercializa in august cu 25-35% mai multe televizoare LCD si plasme fata de iulie, evolutia fiind sustinuta de Jocurile Olimpice, precum si de specificul lunii august, ultima de vara.
In general, in fiecare an luna august aduce o revenire a vanzarilor comparativ cu luna iulie, cand nivelul acestora este mai scazut.

Retailerul IT&C, electronice si electrocasnice estimeaza ca in prezent, gradul de penetrare al televizoarelor LCD in mediul urban se ridica in luna august la 20-25%, dublu fata de aceeasi perioada a anului trecut.

Potrivit reprezentantilor Flamingo, Jocurile Olimpice 2008, derulate in perioada 8-24 august, sunt transmise pentru prima data in format Full HD, rezolutie care aduce cu sine si o crestere a vanzarilor de LCD-uri cu diagonala mare, cuprinsa intre 102 si 250 cm.

"Asa cum am estimat la inceputul anului 2008, segmentul de LCD-uri si plasme reprezinta vedeta pietei de electronice anul acesta, datorita tendintei generale de inlocuire a televizoarelor cu tub catodic si achizitia unora cu tub plat, cat si organizarii unor evenimente majore precum Campionatul European de Fotbal si Jocurile Olimpice de la Beijing", a declarat Jiri Rizek, CEO Flamingo International.

"Chiar daca Jocurile Olimpice de vara vor genera o crestere a vanzarilor de LCD-uri si plasme usor mai mica fata de perioada premergatoare Campionatului European de Fotbal, estimam ca acestea vor continua sa fie printre cele mai solicitate produse si in luna august. Astfel, valoarea medie investita de catre clientii nostri in aceasta categorie de produse se ridica la aproximativ 2.000 de lei, cele mai solicitate modele fiind cele cu diagonala de 32", a mai spus Rizek.

In primul semestru al acestui an, Flamingo International a inregistrat, pe segmentul de LCD-uri si plasme, vanzari triple fata de aceeasi perioada a anului trecut. Valorile urmeaza sa se mentina si in a doua jumatate a anului, compania inregistrand o cota de piata de 15% pe acest segment.

Retailerul estimeaza ca pana la sfarsitul anului 2008, piata de display LCD si plasma va totaliza aproximativ 500.000 de unitati.

Acum mai bine de un an, Microsoft a lansat Windows SkyDrive, un serviciu de stocare online din categoria 2.0. De asemenea, nu puteti uploada mai mult de 5 fisiere intr-o sesiune. Nu exista in cadrul meniului nici un camp care sa anunte utilizatorul pentru cat timp se pot stoca fisierele acolo. Google nu a lansat inca un serviciu dedicat stocarii online, desi aceasta optiune a fost demarata prin intermediul Gmail. Spatiul alocat de Gmail creste constant, prin intermediul unui user si al unei parole, utilizatorul avand acces la mai multe servicii online, printre care si Google Documents, unde se pot crea fisiere tip text sau tabel asemanatoare cu cele din suita Microsoft Office. Prin contul Gmail utiliztorul poate uploada fotografii, documente sau fisiere video, dar nu exista un singur "loc" specializat in managementul documentelor online. Exista, totusi, optiunea, ca, pe statia locala, sa instaleze un program numit Gmail Drive care functioneaza ca o partitie a hardului local. Partitia virtuala Gmail Drive poate fi vizualizata in sistemul de operare Windows din My Computer. Utiliztorul poate trage catre Gmail Drive fisiere de orice tip de pe partitiile locale ale hardului. Managementul fisierelor stocate online se poate face in doua moduri: local, prin vizualizarea ca o partitie normala, sau online, utilizatorul primind un e-mail de fiecare data cand este copiat un fisier in partitia virtuala.
In Romania, exista cateva servicii ca transfer.ro sau filebox.ro unde exista singura optiune de a incarca fisiere pe un server. Prin transfer.ro, utilizatorii pot stoca pana la 1GB fara a fi limitata dimensiunea fisierelor, fiind permise orice fel de fisiere. Transfer.ro este utilizat in special pentru fotografii si fisierele sunt stocate pe o perioada de 10 zile fara a fi nevoie sa-ti creezi un cont. Serverul fiind in Romania, viteza de download este superioara serverelor gazduite in SUA, de exemplu. Filebox.ro este deocamdata in versiunea beta, permitand un spatiu de stocare de pana la 3 GB pe baza deschiderii unui cont de client. Fara cont, fisierele de pana la 50 MB sunt stocate pana la 30 de zile, ier cele mai mari pe perioade mai scurte.

In 2007, in Romania s-au vandut peste 23.000 de echipamente GPS. Piata este dominata de Mio care are o cota de piata intre 55 si 60 la suta, urmat la mare distanta de Garmin cu 10-15% si altii, pana la 100%. Desigur ca nu iti ve achizitiona un GPS daca valoarea lui este aproape egala cu a masinii pe care o conduci. Care sunt domeniile de interes ale utilizatorilor de internet din Romania? Si care ar putea fi "marii castigatori" ai internetului romanesc in 2008?
Potrivit studiilor demografice efectuate de Trafic.ro in perioada ianuarie - februarie 2008, cei mai multi utilizatori de internet din Romania se declara interesati de tematici ce tin de medicina, sanatate, familie si viata de cuplu, computere si internet, copii si educatia acestora si stiinta si tehnica. Printre domeniile de interes ale utilizatorilor de internet din Romania se numara, de asemenea, si
natura si viata animalelor, probleme sociale, turism si moda si cosmetica.
Dupa cum se poate observa, majoritatea domeniilor de care se declara interesati utilizatorii de internet din Romania se regasesc in site-urile pe tematici feminine si in site-urile de stiri. In acelasi timp se poate remarca faptul ca site-urile din categoriile Sanatate si Educatie / Invatamant ar putea cunoaste in acest an cresteri simtitoare.

Trafic.ro: Statistica Top 1000 pentru luna februarie 2008

Trafic.ro a publicat Topul 1000 al lunii februarie 2008, realizat pe baza numarului de vizitatori absolut unici ai site-urilor inscrise in cadrul clasamentului sau.
Topul 1000 reprezinta un instrument util mediului online din Romania, oferind informatii despre evolutia celor mai importante 1000 de site-uri inscrise in Trafic.ro.
Din punct de vedere al cresterilor inregistrate cu privire la numarul de vizitatori absolut unici, ProTv Internet Business Unit domina clasamentul primelor zece site-uri din Top 1000. Astfel, cu un plus de 296.433 vizitatori unici fata de luna trecuta, ConQUIZtador.ro inregistreaza cea mai mare crestere. Locul 2 este ocupat de Sport.ro (cu o crestere de 249.259 vizitatori unici), iar pe locul 3 se afla ProTV.ro (cu o crestere de 83.239 vizitatori unici). Remarcabila este si ascensiunea in topul primelor 10 siteuri, si anume pe pozitia 7, a ProTv.ro, care in luna ianuarie 2008 ocupa pozitia 23.

La inceputul lunii februarie 2008 am afirmat faptul ca romanii sunt foarte pasionati de jocuri, cel mai cautat cuvant prin intermediul caruia vizitatorii ajung in paginile site-urilor inscrise in clasamentul Trafic.ro. Tot atunci v-am prezentat si un top 10 al celor mai cautate cuvinte cheie ale lunilor noiembrie-decembrie 2007 si ianuarie 2008. Astazi, va vom prezenta topul celor mai cautate cuvinte cheie ale anului 2007, separate de data aceasta in cautari generice si cautari dupa nume de domeniu.
Pentru a clarifica separatia dintre cei doi termeni, am definit cautarile generice drept acele cautari dupa un domeniu de interes nerelationat in mod direct la o entitate de genul unui site, companie sau pur si simplu nume de domeniu. Am definit de asemenea cautarile dupa nume de domeniu acele cautari in spatele carora se presupune intentia utilizatorului de a ajunge prin intermediul cautarii pe site-ul cu acelasi nume.
Dupa cum se poate vedea din graficul de mai sus, cel mai cautat termen generic al anului 2007 in site-urile inscrise in Trafic.ro a fost cuvantul jocuri si constructiile sale derivate. Acesta a fost urmat de cuvintele horoscop, ziare, sport si vremea. Printre constructiile derivate ale acelorasi cautari generice s-au regasit mai multe nume de site-uri (de exemplu ziare.ro, ziare.com, e-ziare.ro in cazul cautarilor dupa ziare; sport.ro, telesport.ro, tvsport.ro, onlinesport.ro, astra-sport-bets.ro in cazul cautarilor dupa sport; vremea.ro, vremea.com in cazul cautarilor dupa vremea).
In cazul cautarilor navigationale (dupa un nume de domeniu) din Trafic.ro, cele mai cautate cuvinte ale anului 2007 au fost miniclip, gsp, libertatea, prosport, jetix, cancan, noi2, autovit, evenimentul zilei si neogen. Putem spune astfel ca, intre site-urile inscrise in clasamentul Trafic.ro, cele mai cautate brand-uri ale anului 2007 au fost cele reprezentate in graficul de mai sus.
In concluzie, putem spune ca motoarele de cautare au devenit un proxy pentru utilizatori, ajutandu-i pe acestia sa ajunga pe site-uri printr-o cautare dupa brand-ul dorit. Utilizatorul roman, desi foloseste in continuare cautari generice pentru a ajunge la informatia dorita, a retinut insa si nume de brand-uri de site-uri, structurandu-si astfel cautarile si in jurul acestora.

Dezvoltarea tehnologiei pentru telefoanele mobile (si in special aparitia iPhone-ului) a dus la cresterea numarului de vizitatori care acceseaza internetul de pe un device mobil. Dupa tipul de browser de pe care au accesat site-urile monitorizate de
Trafic.ro, numarul de vizitatori ce utilizeaza o platforma mobila a crescut constant in ultimele luni. In perioada Noiembrie 2007 - Martie 2008, numarul vizitatorilor ce au intrat pe site-urile inscrise in Trafic.ro de pe un iPhone a crescut de aproape trei ori.

Yahoo Inc a anuntat ca se confrunta cu sapte procese initiate de catre actionarii proprii din cauza felului in care a administrat situatia dupa ce grupul Microsoft a facut o oferta nesolicitata de preluare, in valoare de 42 miliarde dolari, informeaza Reuters, citat de NewsIn.

Actionarii sunt nemultumiti de faptul ca managementul Yahoo a fost in totalitate distras de catre oferta facuta de Microsoft, ignorand alte probleme legate de administrarea companiei.

Patru dintre procese au fost initiate in California si trei in Delaware, a declarat Yahoo, intr-un comunicat remis Comisiei pentru burse si valori mobiliare (SEC).

"Nu credem, conform cunostintelor noastre, ca vreuna dintre aceste actiuni va avea un impact material asupra bilantului nostru contabil", a precizat Yahoo, conform Reuters.

Amenda totala aplicata de Comisia Europeana gigantului Microsoft, care insumeaza sanctiunile anterioare, penalitatile si amenda record de 899 milioane euro primita pentru lipsa de transparenta in legatura cu programele, a ajuns la 1,68 miliarde euro.

Comisia Europeana a mentionat ca Microsoft este prima companie care a ignorat sanctiunile.

"Microsoft este cea dintai companie, in cei 50 de ani de la infiintarea politicii de competitie din Uniunea Europeana, pe care Comisia a fost nevoita sa o amendeze pentru nerespectarea unei hotarari antitrust", a declarat Neelie Kroes , comisarul european pentru concurenta.

Compania a anuntat ca amenzile "tin de trecut" si ca grupul se orienteaza spre viitor.
Comisia a sustinut anul trecut, in cadrul procesului intentat in 2004, ca Microsoft nu a oferit informatii necesare legate de programele folosite de producatorii de servere competitori pentru a asigura interoperabilitatea.

Aceasta lansare a grupului Google marcheaza cea mai proeminenta tentativa de a-si mari veniturile prin vanzarea de spatiu publicitar in videoclipurile de pe Internet de pana acum, potrivit Financial Times.

Ne aflam in fata unui produs excelent lansat la sfarsitul anului 2007 care, atentie! este Oficial Licentiat pentru a fi utilizat cu clasica, dar parca mereu tanara consola Playstation 2 de la Sony.
Ai idee cat de greu ofera Sony aceste certificate de licenta? Numai atunci cand produsele sunt la fel de bune ca cele 100% Sony.
Beneficiaza de senzor de miscare 2D identic functional cu stick-ul analog stanga si chiar trebuie sa-l testati ca parca am devenit prea tehnici. Senzorul poate fi activat sau dezactivat in orice moment (are un led care se aprinde sau se stinge semnalizand statutul senzorului). Are optiuni pentru cu sau fara vibratie. Cablul este lung de 2.4 m.

A fost foarte cool la targ! Am postat pentru voi mai multe fotografii in fotoblogul de la adresa http://kbcsoft.weblog.ro/. Am vazut pentru prima data la un targ de IT sau entertainment in Romania genul acela de vizitatori specialisti straini care vin la un astfel de eveniment intre doua avioane si pe care ii vezi numai la marile manifestari din afara.
